Back From Hiatus

For the past 3 weeks, I had been back home in Arizona. Minus the 31 total drive time to and from, and not having a place of my own to stay, the trip turned out better than expected. However, longer than necessary. As much as I loved being "back home" in Arizona, I missed being at my house in Texas.

My couch. My bed. Baking. Cooking. Crafting.

I am a home body. And even though i feel stuck in between where my home really is (Tx or Az) and what home feels like, I hate being away for too long.
However, there was PLENTY of things that kept me preoccupied with having a good time.
Cardinals vs. Cowboys football game, Ryan's band concert and football games, baking with my sister and cousin, wine tasting, dinner with friends, and of course CHRISTMAS!
See, lots happened while I was there. However, it is kind of sad because there was still so much I wanted to do but didn't have the time to do it.
I feel that no matter how long or short my visits are, there will never be enough time to see all the people I want or do everything that I could do. So, if I missed a visit with you, I am truly sorry. Everyone in my life is so important and special to me, I just need you all to know that.

Here are some pics from the first leg of the journey:
this is how good he was the whole drive.

this is pretty much what we saw the whole way to El Paso the first day of the trip.

full rainbow. how cool.

Finally, some mountains. I never knew how much I missed 'em til I moved.

Sweet boy. Good road tripper!

It's a sign!!

another shot of what he did best the entire trip. watch movies.

More from my trip to Arizona to follow!

The Wedding Part Two

After the ceremony...and  hundreds of pictures later, it was time to head to Villa Siena. Let me just say that this place was two years in the planning. We had to have our wedding here.

This was the best reception. We laughed, cried, danced, ate, and drank...or maybe that was all just me.
We had Mariachis, a photobooth, newlywed game, and some decadent cake.

In his toast, my husband said it perfectly, that we only invited close family and friends to share our special day. I was so blessed to have them all in attendance to celebrate this day with us. It meant so much to have each and every one of them there. Muah!! I love you all!!

Can we redo this night all over again?

Thanks to LaurenJean Photography for capturing these perfect moments so that we can relive it any time we want.

Ok here you go! Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

(thats my husband ladies and gents!!)

To love
and be loved.

In typical Steven & Angela fashion,
we do a high five!!
Technically, this was our first dance. But I could NOT resist dancing to Volver, Volver!!

our tables were named after places we have been together.

candy buffet

the guestbook that I had made. I love it!
 The heartfelt, loving speeches-

My husbands speech. It was perfect and from the heart.

thats my big man!!
theres my baby!!
One of my favorite parts of the night,
our real first dance

These two are good friends, they go way back!

Father/Daughter & Mother/Son dances-

They've had too much to drink, time to bust out the lyrics.
This would have been a good picture of my brother and I,
if it weren't for the damn beer in his hand!!
Some of our special friends-

one of my best friends.
Typical Mexican Style.
Another one of my best friends with her cutest, sweetest
 little angel on the planet.
I dont know who enjoyed it more...
...I still cant tell.
My sister Jessica and that guy we call "dad"
Also on this night, we discovered that my handsome son apparently has no rhythm,
but I love him. So we slow danced to a fast song instead.

the newlywed game. It wasn't planned but turned out to be fun!
He sure loves his Tio One!
My boys were dancing fools that night-

But alas, the evening had to end.
It was so much fun, so amazing, wonderful, and magical.

And doggone it if I didn't look so good all gussied up.
Oh. and that husband of mine isn't too shabby himself.
