Today was a good day.

Someone got a brand new bike! Not only a new one but his FIRST BIKE EVER!!!

Thanks Dad for putting it all together!

Oh wait! Someone else got a brand new bike too!!

And that someone was super stoked and surprised!!

Look at my little Riders!! Helmets are on and they are ready to GO!!!!!!

I must end on this note, this was one of the days that daddy has been waiting for since...Baby J was born! 

Today was a good day. A very good day.

DIY Projects are my favorite!

The other day i took a much needed trip to the local Hobby Lobby. I swear if there was not a Hobby Lobby here, i may have reconsidered the move.
I have been wanting to make:
1. Fabric Flowers
2. Something Mod Podge
3. Wreath
4. Something for 4th of July.

Those are just a few things off the top of my head. When I went to HL I picked up 3 scraps of fabric, Red, White & Blue, Mod Podge, and I just got some canvas today. I cannot wait to put the mod podge to work since i have seen many ideas on pinterest of things that i want to make.

Tonight, since I usually stay up pretty late, i took it upon myself to pull out the fabrics and try to make my own fabric flowers. Since I bought the coordinating colors in fabric for the upcoming holiday, hopefully my DIY will be a 2 for 1.
Before I post pics let me just start by saying that when I do a project, the first batch is the "half-ass batch". The one that I-cant-wait-to-get-started-on-because-i-want-to-see-the-end-result-already batch. Then when i have the time and patience i do the "whole-ass batch".
So this is what i worked on tonight:

Here are the scraps that i bought

I cut them into strips. red was widest because it was at the bottom.

then here is the end as i layered them on top of eachother.

The next ones i did, i cut the strips wider, then folded them in half length wise. Then i stitched the edge. This turned out to make a clean cut, neater flower. 

This is where I stopped at because I realized it was 1230am.

15. Current outfit: Literally right now, my jams.

16. Current excitement: Bike riding tomorrow, sleep soon. idk.

Day 23-Something you crave for alot

Crave.
Crave to me can mean so many things.
When it pertains to food, i do not let myself crave anything because then I know that I will over indulge if i deprive myself for too long. My favorite snacks are nachos, popcorn, and sometimes Hershey's chocolate with almonds. mmm.

I crave attention and love. but really who doesn't? I think if you do not crave those things there has to be something wrong. I think that my need for attention comes from being the middle child. (cue the violins)

I crave love because i have always wanted to love and be loved. Its just that easy.

Right now Im craving nachos. mmm...

I know you have been waiting.

     It has only been about 3 weeks that we have lived in Texas. Believe me, it seems like longer, but only in the good way. Summer is flying by but it seems like forever since I have been in Arizona.
     Honest to goodness though, I got here on a Saturday and by Sunday we were completely unpacked. Yup! All the boxes were empty. I had the need...no the urge to organize and decorate.
     This evening I hung up a few of the last pictures so that I can take pictures to post on here.

I kind of wanted to do a before and after.

The wall in my entry way was a spot that I wanted to do so much with. This is what I did. 

Dining Area. I dont like where it is but ya gotta work with what ya got.

More pics to come as I keep adding to the decor of my home. I made the throw pillow covers the other night after my much needed trip to Hobby Lobby. I plan on making/doing more stuff with the house to make it more of a home.

Day 22 what makes you different from everyone else

There are many outstanding qualities that I have that sets me apart from others. 

Is it my witty charm? My beautiful brown eyes? Or my perfect combination of style and sass?

Hmmm...Some would say all of the above!! They'd be correct. 

I think one of the main things that sets me apart from others is my lack of filter.

What does that mean you ask? 

Well, I don't really have it in me to sugar coat things nor dance around the subject. I tell it like it is and I don't care who hears it. Most of the time. 

I also do find my self tellin' a good ol' knee slapper every once in a while. Come on! My jokes put the ASS in HILARI-ASS!!!

I choreograph dance moves in my head to songs I hear on the radio.

75%-90% of this is Mexican and I don't speak a lick of Spanish! Oh but I can understand you.

The other big ticket that makes me different is my damn good looks!! F'Real! If you are reading this and you know me, you know....it is true.

Good bye Old house

We made it to Texas! Not that it was that far since we did not have to move ourselves. It was a 3 hour flight instead of an 18 hour drive. Lucky!

Before I post many pictures of the new place that we just moved into in Rowlett, I want to bid adieu my old house in Gilbert. I know we only lived there for about nine months, I really loved that place. It was big, and open, and best of all it had a pool.

Great for entertaining, and nice place to relax. When we go back to Arizona I want to find a place similar to this one. Goodbye Sunnyvale house. I will miss you.

Can we please have a moment of silence.


P.S. I did tear up when I stepped out of the empty house for the last time.

Day 20 someone you see yourself marrying/being with in the future

This is easy. 

(If it werent, I’d be worried) 

I see myself marrying Mr. L.  

You know when you hear people say “ I knew the moment I fell in love with him” ? 

Yeah, well I really do. 

I know the exact moment it happened. 

I can really honestly say he is my best friend. 

There are days that he annoys me but there are NOT days that I cannot tell him anything and everything. 

He has been by my side for the past (almost) five years. 

I cannot imagine my future without him in it. 

He is by far the absolute best dad in the world. 

For real. 

I can see myself with him forever. 

Its not scary. 

Its not weird. 

Its completely amazing and wonderful. 

I am so blessed that God has sent me such an amazing person to take care of me that taught me how to love and be loved.
